Robert E. Hutton

Bob is a partner in our civil litigation group at Brown Beattie O’Donovan. His practice for over 40 years has been focused on all aspects of construction law, including construction liens, tendering, bonding, contract disputes, and professional negligence. He acts for general contractors, subcontractors, developers, hospitals, municipalities, universities, architects, engineers, and insurers.

Bob currently has memberships in the Law Society of Ontario, The Advocates’ Society, and the Middlesex Law Association. He has received a peer review Distinguished rating for legal ability and ethical standards by Martindale Hubbell ®, has been named a Lexpert ® Ranked lawyer and is included on the Best Lawyers® list for Canada in the practice area of construction law.

Bob is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws degrees. He was called to the Bar in 1970.
