Marissa Hurst

Marissa is a graduate of Western University (Honours Specialization, B.A.) and the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University (J.D.). During her time at Western and Dalhousie, Marissa participated in a variety of community-centered extracurricular activities, including the Western Black Students Association, Empower UWO, Dalhousie’s Student Advocacy Service, the Access to Justice & Law Reform Institute and the Schulich School of Law EDI Committee. Marissa is completing her articles at Brown Beattie O’Donovan during the 2024-2025 term. In her free time, Marissa enjoys going to spin classes, spending time with family, and practicing yoga.
