Stephen Fernandes is an associate in the real estate, wills & estates, and corporate/commercial practice groups with a strong background in condominium law. He obtained his law degree from Western University and received the Law Society of Ontario Prize for ranking among the top fifteen students of the graduating class. In his final year of law school, he was selected to represent Western Law as the researcher at the 2021 Donald G.H. Bowman National Tax Moot. He later articled at a real estate & land development firm in Vaughan before he was called to the Ontario Bar in 2022.
Prior to law school, he completed his Bachelor of Arts (Honors) in Sociology and English Language and Literature at King’s University College, winning the Gold Medal, and later completed his Master of Arts in Sociology at Western University, while teaching in the areas of statistics and research methods.
Stephen was raised in London, Ontario and is very happy to return to his hometown. In his spare time, Stephen keeps physically active and enjoys weight training.
