Aimee Dezeure
Aimee is an associate in our construction law, commercial litigation and employment law groups at BBO. In her construction law practice, Aimee acts for general contractors, architects, engineers, home builders, developers and trades in all manner of construction disputes including liens, breach of trust claims, tendering disputes and delay claims. Aimee’s commercial litigation practice includes acting for both plaintiffs and defendants in various corporate and commercial disputes. Her employment law practice is focused on assisting employers in wrongful dismissal claims and other legal matters before the Ontario Labour Relations Board and the Ontario Human Rights Tribunal.
Aimee earned her Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Laurentian University. She then obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Windsor. During her time in law school, Aimee was actively involved with the Windsor Chapter of the Women’s Legal Education and Action Fund (“LEAF”) and the Women’s Legal Mentorship Program (“WLMP”). She continues to mentor self-identifying female law students as a member of the WLMP’s Leadership & Equity Advisory Group.
Aimee holds memberships with the Law Society of Ontario, the Ontario Bar Association and the Middlesex Law Association. She is fluently bilingual in English and French. Aimee completed her articles at BBO and was called to the bar in 2023.
