Ciara is an associate in our construction law and commercial litigation groups at BBO. Her construction litigation practice is focused on all aspects of construction law, including liens, breach of trust claims, tendering, and contract disputes. Ciara’s commercial litigation practice includes acting for both plaintiffs and defendants in various corporate and commercial disputes, creditor/debtor rights, and enforcement procedures. Ciara also represents her clients when charged with regulatory offences under the Occupational Health and Safety Act and in matters relating to Building Code violations.
Ciara holds memberships in the Law Society of Ontario, the Advocates’ Society and the Middlesex Law Association. She is active in London’s non-profit community and volunteers her time to various charitable organizations. Ciara currently sits on the Board of Habitat for Humanity Heartland Ontario.
Ciara earned her Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice and Public Policy from the University of Guelph. She then attended The University of Western Ontario where she obtained her law degree. Ciara was called to the bar in 2015.
